January 29-February

Fairbanks, Alaska

The Fairbanks Curling Club and the community of Fairbanks are excited to be hosting the 2011 USA Curling Jr Nationals this year. We want to congratulate the teams that will be playing this year and look forward to providing an experience that they will not soon forget.

There are many activities for the teams to do while they are here. Although we know the athletes are here to compete there will be opportunities for the teams to try their hand at things like dog mushing, ice carving, enjoying the Hot Springs, viewing the Northern Lights and the chance to take in a deep breath of -50 degree air. That being said, participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the Alaska weather. The locals will tell you it’s not all that bad and that it’s a dry cold, which is true, but frostbite can be a major concern if you’re not prepared.

Check back often for more information. We will be continually updating this site.
